KenParkerUmbrellas.com return policy

The customer will be responsible for freight costs, i.e. for the original shipment to you and for the return. In the cases where the shipping costs are included in the price of the product, the freight cost will be extracted from the selling price and charged back to the customer upon calculation of any refund that may be due.

Ken Parker Umbrellas will accept returns with the following conditions.

KenParkerUmbrellas.com is not responsible for shipping damages. They are the responsibility of the carrier. We declare the value to the carrier for any shipment over $5.00 in value. If you receive an item damaged, you must file a claim with the freight carrier. Ken Parker Umbrellas may be able to assist you with this process. Contact our customer service department to inquire.

Custom manufactured products are not returnable under any circumstances as they are manufactured specifically for you and are not resalable.

All returns must be approved by the KenParkerUmbrellas.com customer service department in writing or E-mail and all packages must have the return authorization number clearly marked on all packages.

Any items received without a return authorization number will be refused. The shipper will return the goods to you and any shipping costs will not be the responsibility of KenParkerUmbrellas.com.

The returned item must be in the original carton with all accessories packed as originally received.

The items must not have been used.

The items must be in salable condition.

All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking charge as well as the freight charges discussed above.

Credits will be issued after we receive and inspect the product.

Credits will be issued for returned products only, minus the freight and restocking charges.

The items must be returned to the address given when we issue the return authorization number. Many items will go back to the manufacturer, NOT to our facilities.

How to Handle Shipping Damage

Sadly, it does happen; but fortunately, very few shipments are damaged. The satisfactory resolution is dependent upon your actions at time of delivery. The shipper, when delivering, will ask for a signature that all was received in good order. You MUST inspect the items you are signing for BEFORE you sign for the goods. If you see any damage to the box or anything that would indicate hidden damage, it MUST be noted on the delivery receipt. If the product is damaged, we suggest you refuse the shipment.

If you fail to note the possibility of damage on the delivery receipt, you will find it VERY difficult to obtain any relief from the shipping company, should you have damage that was not noted on the receipt.

If you have ANY concerns about damage, I strongly encourage you to call the shipper's local terminal and speak to the manager about your concerns before the driver leaves.KenParkerUmbrellas.com is not responsible for shipping damage. The shipping company is responsible for shipping damage. If you sign for a delivery that is damaged, you accept all responsibility for the shipment and any damage that may have occurred during the shipping of your goods.
